On the 2nd of May we done an outreach with The Shepherds Hands group ,Evangelist Brendon Ministered a word titled Hope against Hope to encourage the people, the were a few salvations and some people responded for prayer needs.
Thereafter we provided the people with soup & bread, apples, crips and a cooldrink. There was still much left and so we went to an abandoned home where unhoused people have taken shelter, fed and prayed over them and still had much left.
We then went to two other disadvantaged communities to feed people and pray for them, God just seemed to have multiplied the food provision on the day and expanded our territory. To God be the glory, Jesus is Lord
On Saturday we once again had the honor of ministering to the people in Florida and feed the destitute with The Shepherds Hands group and Pastor Enrico.
I shared my testimony and Pastor Enrico ministered the word.
By the grace of God, there were a few salvations.
We then went to a commune where there are people bound to addiction living and ministered to and distributed food to them.
A young Muslim woman living there accepted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour.
We distributed 99meals in total and Malcolm and Ursula bought clothes for a baby living there and went back yesterday, Ursula also received a donation of R500 from an ex colleague for things for the baby that they got and handed to the mom.
All glory honor and praise to God.
Together we can make a difference.
One the 14th of February we partnered with Reverend Thebe of Yield Tabernacle Global and Pastor Bernadette from Feed My Lambs Children & prison ministry in a previously disadvantaged community, affected by drugs and gangsterism.
Evangelist Brendon shared his testimony and Reverend Thebe ministered a word titled: No Condemnation.
There was a tangible presence of the Holy Spirit and many people responded to the altar call and came for prayer and the Lord delivered many from various forms of bondage.
To God be the glory
Our first outreach of the year, we continued with Shepherds Hands, Evangelist Brendon ministered on miracles, there were 5salvations and many people came for prayer beliving for healing and deliverance.
By the grace of God 116 people were fed
On the 20th December 2025, we were once again honored to assist aunty Elaine of Happy Hands Feeding with a Christmas party for children in Westbury, this outreach was special as a young man Kohl celebrated his 19th birthday on the day and wanted to do something for underprivileged kids.
They contributed hotdogs and juices as well as a basket ball hoop and balls.
By the grace of God 300 souls were ministered to and fed on the day. To God be the glory.
On the 16th December 2025 we partnered Reverend Thebe from Yield Tabernacle Global, who provided the food for the outreach with Pastor Bernadette from Feed My Lambs Children and Prison Ministries at the Waterval Flats in Newlands. Apoximately 176 souls were ministered to and fed
On the 13th December 2025 we partnered the Wykes foundation and Pastor Auburn De Leeuw and the family of the late Uncle Alec Stamboul as they continue to keep his legacy alive and minister to the needs of the community in Klipspruit west, Johannesburg, the gospel of Jesus Christ was ministered and approximately 300 souls were fed. To God be the glory.
We thank the Lord for His grace and mercy for the partnership with the Shepherds Hands feeding group and with Pastor Enrico of Disciples of Jesus, Saturday the 6th of December was the final feed in the community of Florida, Evangelist Brendon prayed into the atmosphere before opening in prayer and sharing his testimony, we had a time of prise and worship and Pastor Enrico ministered from the Book of Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.
People were clearly touched, one woman walked up bowing her head to be prayed over during the prayer into the atmosphere and Evangelist Brendon asked pastor Enrico to pray over her, another man also during the prayer walking by with a group of guys, stopped and raised his hands during the prayer, many people accepted Jesus when given the opportunity and said the prayer of repentance.
Thereafter we proceeded to feed people at a drug house, where Pastor Enrico ministered a brief word, the occupants were fed and given bibles including kids bibles and lady who was bedridden from a leg injury was instantly healed after hands were laid on her in prayer, to God be the glory.
On Saturday the 6th December we were honoured to be invited to the graduation of the kids at WYKES ECD College, Evangelist Brendon opened in prayer, the kids done various acts of song and dance, each grade, Teacher Lynne the founder and visionary, encouraged the parents and guardians to give the children their undivided attention, acknowledge them and speak words of affirmation as well as blessings over them and thanked the teachers for their dedication and congratulated all the graduates. Teacher Zizo was our host and directed the ceremony excellently and teacher Bellinda the principal done the vote of thanks after every kid received a certificate for various achievements and accomplishments.
A moment of silence was observed for all the people that were killed in gang related violence in the area and the children sang heal the world, each kid was blessed with a gift from one of the parents, lego sets and Evangelist Brendon closed in prayer.
We wish all the children that will be starting junior or primary school well and trust the Lord for a new intake of children and that the remaining students will grow in the knowledge of the Lord.
One Friday the 5th December we had the privilege to sponsor the kids with hotdogs, party packs and ice creams and the kids partook of praise and worship, then Evangelist Brendon ministered a word titled Jesus can use little children for miracles, ministering about the little boy with five loaves and two fish, encouraging the children to share and give thanks. When asked who believes Jesus can use them for miracles every child raised their hand.
HE WHO WINS SOULS IS WISE-As a ministry our primary focus is soul winning and discipleship and one of the ways that we get to minister the word is through feeding schemes and we partner with different groups of people to achieve that, together we can do more.
We do outreaches bi-weekly and once a month it’s with the amazing group of people who we have taken on the name The Shepherds Hands, who feed the homeless from their own resources, these people go the extra mile just like the good Samaritan. May the Lord continue to bless and prosper them abudantly.
Socially Relevant: As a ministry we understand the importance of being connected to the needs, issues and values of society.
And it is with that reason that when given the opportunity that we partner with Pastor Bernadette Coty from Feed My Lambs Prison and Childrens Ministry, to feed the kids, when she runs her holiday program to keep the children safe in the Westbury and Newlands communities, that is affected by drug related gang wars, on the day they had approximately 200kids that we were able to assist in feeding. To God be the glory.
*Defending the faith*
1 Peter 3:15, encourages believers to be prepared to give a defense of their hope with gentleness and reverence.
1 Corinthians 16:13, urges believers to be courageous and stand firm in the faith, and Jude 3, speaks of contending for the faith once for all delivered to the saints.
I am thankful for the South African Church defenders for taking a bold stance and organizing yesterday’s march in Pretoria.
For Reverend Thebe from Yield Tabernacle Global and friends, Pastor Thabo and Mapule allowing me to travel with them.
It was also good to see my friend Apostle Robert present.
And a honorable salute to the president of the ACDP President, Kenneth Meshoe for his presence and bold stance to defending the faith.
THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST WILL NOT BE REGULATED IN SOUTH AFRICA
Saturday the 27th we had the privilege to train 22 believers from Liberty Church and done practical training after on an outreach
I had 5 people from different Ministries assist as trainers and we give God all the glory for those trained and the souls that were added to the Kingdom of God on the outreach.
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, Ephesians 4:11-12 KJV
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:15-16 KJV
On Wednesday the 24th, Heritage day, I done an outreach with another group from Yield Tabernacle Global, Reverend Thebe who done the training online with me, by God’s grace 43 souls were added to the Kingdom 🙏🏽to God be the glory
After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. Revelation 7:9 NIV
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14
Once again as a ministry we partnered with the Shepherds Hands group and done an outreach.
I ministered a word titled “It’s not too late”, from John 11 about the death of Lazarus
By the grace of God many people responded to receive the gift of salvation and were fed a meal
Thereafter we went to a drug house prayed over the people, fed them and the kids received little gift parcels.
To God be the glory
Jesus came to seek and to save the lost and as a ministry we prioritize sharing the gospel but lie Jesus we understand the importance of compassion of feeding the hungry and so partnership with people like the Shepherds Hands, a group of couples that has compassion to feed people are required to enable us to fulfill our mandate from the Lord
On Saturday the 12th July we partnered with couples on whose heart the Lord has laid it to feed the needy once a month.
Evangelist Brendon ministered a word titled, You are not forgotten, using the life of Mephibosheth, the grandson of king Saul and son of Johnathan, who was crippled and unto whom David showed kindness, restoring the land of his grandfather to him and granting him a seat at his table.
In the same way God, remembers us and shows us kindness, restores unto us and grants us a seat at His table because of the covenat of the blood of Jesus
We give God all the glory for the souls that received salvation as well for enabling us to feed the people and distribute gospel materials unto them.
On Saturday the 5th of July we partnered with Pastor Enrico & some of the team of Disciples for Jesus as they done an outreach and provided soup and bread.
Pst Enrico ministered a word from the portion of scripture about Blind Bartemeus, prayed over and with the people in attendance and distributed gospel literature to equip the people, we thank the Lord for enabling us to be socially relevant and evangelistically potent
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat…” Matthew 25:35-37
Everyone is significant and has a role to play in doing the work of the Lord.
On Saturday the 7th June 2025, I had the opportunity to join Ursula & Malcom Pop, along with three other couples, that they do feeding with once a month.
I ministered a message titled God Loves You from John 3:16-17 and 15-20 souls responded to receive the free gift of salvation and 66 meals were distributed to the needy.
To God be the glory, Jesus is Lord
We honored to be part of the Wykes Foundation gospel crusade at the Masters Field in Newclare, Johannesburg, where they currently have the ECD college.
Five different ministries availed their worship teams to perform as well as De Funk, that made the day an amazing day of worship.
We prayed and made positive scriptural declarations declarations over the community that has been affected by drugs and gangsterism.
I had the privilege of ministering the word from 2 Chronicles 7:14 and believe that this concert had prophetic relevance for this community.
Like in the days of Josiah the worship teams has been sent ahead of the army and like with Jerico the walls and strongholds of the enemy has fallen.
And as was with the apostles Paul and Silas, the prsion doors are opened, the chains are broken and the shackles has been loosed.
We thank the Lord for a revelation of Jesus, repentance of the community, and that the people are turning from darkness to light, from the power of satan to God, receiving forgiveness of their sins and the inheritance of the saints
Jesus’s command was to make disciples not converts.
As a ministry our purpose is to equip believers for service, and with that I’ve been supporting Pst Enrico in fulfilling the purpose the Lord has called him for.
What started off as prayer, leading to an outreach, resulted in launching a Wednesday evening Disciples of Jesus Group, where Pst Enrico is ministering to believers who responded at the prayer and outreach.
The Lord has given Pst Enrico favor with the Headmaster at a local private school and in the group was launched on the 30th April and we begun with 6 adults in our first week, to eight in our second week and 12 in our 3rd week.
All the Lord requires is an available vessel and obedience and like the early disciples, another home church is planted.
All glory honor and praise be unto God
On the 12th of April 2025, I partnered up with Pst Enrico to do an outreach in a park his community close to where we prayed.
As ministry we believe in being evangelistically potent & socially significant, so we took a 120 hotdogs went into the park, prayed into the atmosphere and played worship music.
The Holy Spirit drew the people and Pst Enrico ministered to the people, as it’s been laid upon his heart to start a group and disciple people in the area
The phrase “praying at the gates” in a biblical context often refers to a metaphorical or symbolic act of seeking God’s favor, grace, or intervention. The concept is rooted in the idea that gates represent access or boundaries, and praying at them signifies a desire to enter or petition God for access or influence.
On the 21st March 2025, I joined Pastor Enrico at his request for the Rainbow FM praying at the gates campaigne in his community.
The Bible emphasizes the importance of praying at all times and for those in authority. The verse 1 Timothy 2:1-2 urges believers to make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for all people, including kings and those in authority, so that we may live peaceful and quiet lives.
AND WITH THAT WE THANK THE LORD FOR THE PRIVILEDGE TO MINISTER & PAYER FOR MEMEBERS OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE SERVICES WITH PATOR MARK
Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2 NKJV
We are called to support one another, sharing burdens and offering help in times of need.
In unity, we are able to achieve way more when we work collectively compared to a solo effort.
Pastor Ray McCauley always used to say,” we must be a river not a swamp.”
I thank the Lord, for people like Russel and Karen Joseph.
In December Karen contacted me to support our feeding outreaches, but we had already had people who committed to basically all the needs, so Karen then suggested that they will assist toward our basic needs and in January we do stationery for kids.
Immediately, I thought about Lynne and the Wykes Foundation who has an ECD college, in Newclare and does a lot of community-based projects.
Well Russel, Les and I got meet with Lynne and some of their team this morning, I thank the Lord as they done what the Lord laid upon their heart.
Along with the word of God, which is very important, we need to be socially relevant, and education is an instrumental part for lasting transformation.
ALL GLORY HONOR & PRAISE BE UNTO GOD
Glory to God, what an amazing evening, as we partnered with Thy Salvation Ministries and Shiloh Pentecostal, (hope I got that correct), herewith a few highlights of this evening as spiritual dancing teams blessed us with various spiritual dancing acts, while Pastor Brian ministered the Christmas story in 4 sections between the various spiritual dancing presentations.
I was honoured to be the MC and to get to do the altar call and do a mass prayer of salvation with the community.
The evening ended with the and community members being blessed with HOTDOGS & the kids with party packs, gospel materials, namely, the Christmas Story and God loves you booklets for the children and the Gospel of John for the adults.
Riverlea will never be the same.
All glory, honor and praise be unto God.
JESUS IS LORD
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Matthew 24:14 NKJV
I thank the Lord once again as we partnered with aunty Elaine and Happy Hands in Westbury on Saturday 21st December 24.
The rain tried to deter us; however, I started alone praying with a few people in the house as the children from the community came twice and had to run home because it was pouring with rain.
Then I stood in the rain, prayed into the atmosphere and the rain reduced to drizzles by the grace of God and eventually stopped.
I played COME JESUS COME by Ce Ce Wynans and other gospel music and the kids started returning and people came out of their homes.
I was later joined by Evangelist Spencer Rabie and his wife Nikki and I ministered a word from Luke 4 titled, ” He came to set the captives free.”
Then I invited people for prayer and had Evangelist Spencer pray for them and later close in prayer as well.
The power of God was present to set people free and Evangelist Spencer and Nikki were still praying for people when I left to go get things to drop off for the next outreach in Riverlea Ext.
We thank the Lord for the salvations and those set free by the gospel of Jesus and in the name of Jesus.
We supplied 300 hotdogs and Hand of Happiness gave party packs, sadly we ran out of hotdogs but the kids got gospel booklets which is the bread of life.
And auntie Elaine was going to make polony sandwiches as people were still coming after🥲
JESUS IS LORD
We give glory to God, that we were able to partner once again with the Wykes Foundation, on Saturday the 14th December in Klipspruit West Johannesburg.
The outreach was awesome, over 200, kids and adults were fed, we shared the word of God, the kids received party packs and booklets of the Christmas story & God loves You.
Many people responded to the altar call as Evangelist Spencer from Hour of Power shared. Together we can do more
“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
*I Timothy 2:1-4 NKJV*
Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
*Romans 13:1 NKJV*
I thank God for His grace and Pastor Mark for his obedience to the Lord, requesting me to minister to some of the members of the South African Police Services at Sophiatown police station this morning.
I ministered a word from Genesis 18:4, Titled: IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD?
I firmly believe in my spirit, that change that will bring lasting peace, is going to come to the community of Westbury and other communities affected by the same circumstances nationally.
And God Himself is going to implement that change, by the power of His Spirit.
And therfore, I encourage every believer, ministering in and praying for these communities, with the following words of the Apostle Paul.
“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
*Hebrews 6:10-12 NKJV*
REMEMBER GOD LOVES YOU AND JESUS IS LORD
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.
And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.
For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body— whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
For in fact the body is not one member but many.
*I Corinthians 12:4-6, 12-14 NKJV*
Today by the grace of God we were able to partner with Pastor Bernadette Coty of Feed my Lambs, children & prison ministry.
Pastor Bernadette ministered on the Christmas story to the kids and then gave the kids, hotdogs, party packs, ice suckers and the Christmas story and God loves you booklets.
They started at in Newlands, where I joined them, then went to Pennyville, Riverlea, Newclare and back to another section in Newlands.
A total of 300 kids received treats, more were ministered to, but one area didn’t want the children to receive meals or treats, which is understandable, but allowed the word to be ministered.
To God be the glory.
JESUS IS LORD
But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”
And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.
Mark 10:14-16 NKJV
I was totally blessed on Thursday the 4th December, to get to minister to the kids at the Wykes Foundation ECD College.
It was absolutely amazing how attentively kids listen, as we showed them a little gospel presentation by a kid and I asked them questions on it and they actually got it.
They danced so freely and were really into their praise and worship, the teachers are doing excellent work with these kids.
Thank you to those who partnered with us to make their year-end party special, by treating them with hotdogs, juice and party packs.
Thank you to Christ for all nations who made it possible for us to give them coloring booklets with Bible stories in it
Lord thank you for using me in your kingdom to equip and empower your children.
People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.
On Saturday 26 October in conjunction with Pastor Sharleen from House of Isa Ministries, we provided hot dogs for Little Rascals Day Care to feed children at their fundraiser in Westbury.
I ministered a word titled BACK TO GOD.
We trust the Lord that His word will not return void and that Westbury will, get BACK TO GOD
WORTHY OF THE CALL
On Monday the 15th July 2024 by the grace of God, I got to minister a word of encouragement from Ephesians 4:1-4 to some of the members of the SAPS @ Sophiatown.
I touched on points such as integrity, patience, love and unity.
Serving the community in love alongside the police services, anti-crime unit, the church and community, to bring about change and transformation in Westbury and the surrounding communities.
It’s imperative that we walk worthy of the calling to serve the community, which can only be done by the power of the Holy Spirit, in submission and repentance to God, through patience with one another as transformation is a process, by walking and serving in love and standing united.
I am thankful to God, Pastor Mark Jordan and Pastor Bernadette Coty for the opportunity.
We continue praying for all stake holders involved, especially our men and women in the police service.
Westbury shall be saved.
God loves us & Jesus is Lord
HE CAME TO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE
On the 14th July 2024 I had the honor to minister with Pastor Bernadette Coty of Feed My Lambs, prison & children’s ministry, at a place of safety, where young people are kept before being sent to juvenile prison or while their cases are pending.
I ministered to about 50 to 60 souls, about 60 including the officials in that section.
The word I ministered was titled, Repentance Brings About Restoration, from Luke 15, the story of the prodigal son.
And by the grace of God, 40 young men or teenagers responded to the call for salvation.
We give God all the glory honor and praise and pray that these young people, by the power of the Holy Spirit, will come out of the system 👏🏽
JESUS
IS LORD
On the 4th of July 2024, we were honoured to partner with and share on Obedience, at the School Holiday Program run by Pastor Bernadette Coty of Feed My Lambs, Prison & Childrens Ministry at Fires of Rivival’s facility at Waterfal Flats, Newlands, Johannesburg.
I ministered from the book of Isaiah 1:19 which states: “If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword”; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”
Encouraging the children and letting them know that obedience to God’s word, will change their circumstances.
Pastor Bernadette has had different teachings for the week and then feeds the kids.
We thank the Lord for her and Fires of Revival for enabling the kids to be in a safe environment off the streets during the holidays.
All glory honour & praise be unto God
God Equip Ministries, had the honour of serving Pastors Brian & Enrico from Thy Salvation Ministries at their outreach in Riverlea Extension.
Pastor Brian Ministered a word Titled the love of God, Pastor Enrico and Evangelist Brendon shared their testimonies and along with Brother Gladwin from Thy Salvation Ministries, ministered to members of the community, presenting the gospel one on one and to specific groups. And people surrendered their lives to the Lord.
At this exact location two young men were gunned down dew to gang violence, so we are extremely thankful the Lord for souls that were saved on the day.
Where sin abounds, grace abounds more.
I ministered from Isaiah 43:1,”But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1 NLT
My message was titled: “HE KNOWS YOUR NAME.” I touched on Jeremiah 1:5, God knew you before you were born and has a purpose for you. Aunty Elaine distributed food and gospel material to the children, and I prayed for and over the community. Jesus is Lord
On Friday 3rd May I said; “Lord, who can I take with me to go minister, then the thought came to me, you got saved alone, yes there were people present but you took that decision on your own.
We never alone though, because the Holy Spirit is always with us.
Well, all we need to do is show up, God has His own team, a lady Rose opened powerfully in prayer, I ministered the word, titled, “Repentance Brings Restoration,” same title as the word I ministered at a home group two weeks ago, totally different message, though.
And then Pastor Ansie, from Africa Lighthouse Ministries closed us off in prayer. They’ve been working with the Wykes Foundation for years apparently.
I done an altar call and a public prayer and then prayed over 3 people, 2 requested prayer and the 3rd stood in the gap for her husband that is blind.
I prayed, because I believe in God and therefore, I believe in miracles and am looking forward to hearing a testimony of God having opened up his eyes in Jesus name.
Thank the Lord for the organizers of this March today, blessings to all the stake holders that were involved.
I just joined to stand in unity with the community, there were a few emotional moments when people kneeled and prayed at one of the prayer points and then when many people hung white ribbons on a bridge in memory of their family members that were shot and killed due to gang violence.
On the 22nd December I was honoured to attend a carol by candle light in Riverlea ext, hosted by Pastor Brian & sister Ingrid Roosekrans of Thy Salvation Ministries. A joint effort with Pastors and Ministries operating in the area.
They actually closed the road off and brought hope to approximately 300 kids from the community, whose lives have been affected by gang violence over the years.
By the grace of God, we were able to contribute 300 hotdogs and booklets of the Christmas story.
Thy Salvation Ministries and the ministries that they partnered with served the children, with, the word, live entertainment and distributed party packs and juices to every child present.
In the past 2 weeks with the support of family, partners and Hope-Filled Church, by God’s grace we as God Equip Ministries, supplied 900 hotdogs and then were given and distributed 910 Christmas story booklets.
To God be the glory 🙏🏽🙌🏽
JESUS IS LORD
Giving help to the poor is like loaning money to the Lord. He will pay you back for your kindness. Proverbs 19:17 ERV
And so, God Euip Ministries wrapped up our outreaches for 2023 by partnering with aunty Elaine’s feeding scheme in Westbury 0n the 16th December.
I asked Pastor Bernadette Cotty after hearing her share the Christmas story on Tuesday, to minister to the kid’s today.
Aunty Elaine catered for 300 kids, some just came and collected a hotdog, a party pack and gifts were that were sponsored for some kids who have absolutely nothing.
Pastor Bernadette distributed books of the Christmas story and we also distributed, salvation booklets, Help from Above and the Gospel of John.
We thank the Lord for His faithfulness throughout 2023
Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:3 NKJV
This morning , I once again had the opportunity as God Equip Ministries, to serve with the Wykes foundation in Klipspruit.
They gave about 150+ kids each a hotdog, a juice, crips and sweets.
I ministered a short word titled the Greatest Gift of all from Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
I’m always amazed at kids, when I asked who wants the free gift to be eternally with God when they leave the earth, everyone raised their hands🤣
That happened in rural area in KZN South Coast a few years ago at a junior school and I asked the interpreter, does these kids understand me and they all responded yes we do in English 🤣
Brother Auburn and the team went to 2 other places in the community to feed more kids and I unfortunately had to leave.
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” *Matthew 19:14 NKJV*
On the 12th December we were honoured to serve at a party hosted by the Wykes Foundation at their ECD center in Hursthill.
They hosted a total of 68 children, 30 from Waterfal, 30 from Westbury and 8 from Hursthill
The children had fun, played were fed, the word was ministered to them by Pastor Bernadette Cotty.
She shared the Christmas story with them and made it interactive and I was amazed how attentively the children listened.
They clearly understood the purpose of Jesus birth, to save us from our sins.
Pastor Cotty done a prayer with us, covering every part of our body and as she prayed we had to put our hands on our own body, for a sound mind, a heart, etc
Then I had the privilege to pray over them and after the party they were each given a little box with sweeties, a booklet on salvation and taken home with the bus which the Wykes Foundation arranged for them.
Thank God for the Wykes Foundation and what they are doing.
Next year when the ECD college opens they will need sponsorships( bursaries) for the children, they will be taking kids in from 3-6yrs old and monitor and track them right up to graduating from university.
Preaching the word is very necessary, but, educating them, I believe is what will give them an opportunity at creating a better future for themselves and what will bring change to communities like Westbury.
Thank you Jesus, for enabling us as a ministry to partner with them.
REMEMBER THAT GOD LOVES YOU AND JESUS IS LORD

Taking The Church To The People (October 2023)
“Every day they spent time in the temple and in one home after another. They never stopped teaching and telling the good news that Jesus is the Messiah. Acts 5:42 CEVDCI

It’s about leaving the ninety nine and going after the one. God is interested in pursuing individuals.
It’s not about making converts but about making people disciples of Jesus.

FULFILLING THE GREAT COMMISSION
*Matthew 28:18-20 NLT*
[18] Jesus came and told His disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.
[19] Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
[20] Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
*Jesus said to GO and make disciples and as a ministry that’s what we have been doing, taking the church to the people and ministering in homes.*
In the past six weeks by the grace of God we’ve been doing home fellowships in Randparkridge Randburg, Kentview Johannesburg, Risidale Randburg, Crosby Johannesburg, Horseshoe Johannesburg, Glenanda Johannesburg South, Fleurhof Roodepoort and as the Holy Spirit has been leading.
We’ve also prayed with business owners in Strydom Park Randburg and Hursthill Johannesburg and continue to pray for supernatural financial success for these businesses.
It’s not about making converts but about making people disciples of Jesus.( Matthew 28)
We haven’t been doing street outreaches, the reason being when there are 200 to 300 people the sound is not effective and the Lord has not yet provided sound so until then we put that on hold.
We have instead assisted one family with a small grocery hamper and someone that was in prison, by the grace of God he was released after over a year, a week after our last visit.
So we will be assisting him in whatever way we are able until he finds employment.
He is from the community of Westbury, which currently has gang wars affecting the community and so we are taking him under our wing in the ministry.
Many of the young people from the community are open to receiving the Lord and serving Him but, unfortunately when they do they have no opportunities available to generate income to sustain themselves and their families and find themselves falling back into the system.
We sadly can’t do much but intend doing our best to assist at least the one that’s been given us.
It’s about leaving the ninety nine and going after the one. God is interested in pursuing individuals. (Matthew 18)
We’ve been doing hospital visits and prayed for people when request were made and when it was possible to get out to them otherwise most of it has been telephonically.
Keep us in prayer as we continue by the grace of God daily, allowing Him to build the ministry for it is written: “Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. (Psalms 127:1 NKJV)

Brother Johnathan doing a prison visit
“I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
(Mattew 25:36,37,39,40 NIV)
*Today’s Scripture:*
“But as for me, I will keep watch for the Lord; I will wait for the God who will save me; my God will hear me.”
*Micah 7:7:*
“The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him. It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”
*Lamentations 3:25-26:*
Oftentimes in life we find ourselves in a place of waiting, whether it’s to board a flight or for transportation, for a consultation, for results medical or intellectual, for deliverance, the deliverance of a baby or to be delivered from a situation or for a breakthrough.
And I’m sure that many people can agree, waiting isn’t always a pleasurable experience, especially if you are going through difficulties.
Unfortunately, in most situations we have no option but to wait.
For the nation of Israel, they were in bondage to slavery for 400yrs, through no fault of their own, but because God told Abraham that they would be because the evil of the wickedness of the Amorites had not yet warranted judgement or their destruction. (Genesis 15)
God however have promised that they would come out if slavery with untold wealth.
My friend’s humanity had been in bondage to sin since the fall of humankind in the garden of Eden for thousands of years and God until Jesus was born into this world to take the punishment of our sin upon Himself and liberated us from the power of sin, so we don’t have to be slaves to sin.
As it written: “For sin will no longer be a master over you, since you are not under Law [as slaves], but under [unmerited] grace [as recipients of God’s favor and mercy].(Romans 6:14 AMP)
And there was a shift of allegiance, the nation of Israel was delivered from slavery but to serve God not to do their own thing and so are we.
As it is written: “And having been set free from sin, you have become the slaves of righteousness [of conformity to God’s will and purpose].(Romans 6:18 AMP)
The Bible tells us that not only did they leave Egypt with wealth, but non amongst them were feeble.
As it is written: “He brought them out with silver and gold, and there was not one feeble person among their tribes”. (Psalm 105:37)
My friends, Jesus never only delivered us from the bondage of slavery to sin, He also took our poverty upon Himself so we can be enriched. (2 Corinthians 8:9), He took our infirmities and illness away. (Matthew 8:17)
He became a curse so that we as the Gentiles (Non-Jews) can receive the blessing of Abraham. (Galatians 3:13-14)
The good news my friends is that, because of what Jesus done for us, through His crucifixion, deaths and resurrection, we don’t have to wait for salvation to be free from the bondage of sin.
As it is written; “today’s the day of salvation”2 Corinthians 6:2, which emphasizes the urgency and immediacy of God’s grace and the opportunity for salvation.
It emphasizes the importance of responding to God’s offer of salvation without delay, highlighting the present opportunity for repentance and faith.
It serves as a call to action, urging individuals to embrace God’s grace and make a decision for Christ, rather than postponing it.
So, if you’ve been waiting for deliverance my friends, from addiction or affliction, illness, disease, poverty or lack, wait no more, your deliverance is in your mouth, a call away.
As it is written; For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord [in prayer] will be saved.” (Romans 10:13 AMP)
I can confirm that, when I called upon Jesus, after 14yrs of drug addiction, I was instantly delivered, set free and got saved (confessed and received Jesus as Lord and Saviour) a week later.
Sometimes we find ourselves in captivity through no fault of our own and we need to wait for our release, like some of the people that were taken into captivity to Babylon in the days of Jeremiah.
People like Daniel and his friends, they were faithful to God even in captivity when they refused to eat was forbidden.
Their faithfulness led to them being favored, however they were also targeted.
Daniel’s three friends refused to bow to a golden image and were threatened to be thrown into a fiery furnace.
Even then, they stood firm in their belief and trusted God’s word that states; When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” (Isaiah 43:2 NLT)
And we all know the story, they trusted God, waited for Him to save them, and He did, not from the fire though, but in the fire.
Some of us are in the fire, my friends we are not alone, Jesus is with us, He is our fourth man in the fire and as we wait on God, we will come out, unscathed, not even smelling like smoke and God will be glorified.
Daniel, refused to obey a command not to pray and was thrown into the lions den.
I’m certain that if was thrown into the den for refusing to stop praying to God, then he most likely prayed more fervently in the lions den.
My friends, it is written, “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil.
He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
Stand firm against him and be strong in your faith.
Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.” (1 Peter 5:8-9 NLT)
My friends the devil will try to get you to stop praying, because he knows that; “The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].(James 5:16b AMP)
Don’t stop praying, irrespective of what you are going through, wait on God prayerfully and He will shut the mouths of the lions trying to devour you.
Daniel and His friends were aware from the prophecy of Jeremiah that they had to wait for 70yrs to come out of captivity.
The prophet told the nation of Israel, “build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce,” (Jeremiah 29:5)
My friends while we are waiting for Jesus to return, we should make our lives wherever we are, as comfortable and productive as possible, focusing on building a future there.
Sometimes we find ourselves in a situation, where we are beaten by life, in a dark dungeon, imprisoned and bound, even though we are doing God’s will.
Like Paul and Silas (Acts 16), instead of turning from God and complaining or cursing God, we should turn to God in prayer and praise.
And like with Paul and Silas, God will cause everything around us to be shaken, the prison doors will open, the chains will break, and the shackles will come off.
And what the devil planned for evil, will turn to good, just like with Paul and Silas, the prison warden and his household got saved and baptized.
My friends, while you are waiting on God, keep laboring in His field as a slave to righteousness, be faithful and don’t compromise your beliefs, stand in faith upon the promises of His word, pray fervently and praise Him.
And like the nation of Israel, at the right time the Lord will deliver you, you will be released from captivity, the fiery trials of life will not consume you, He will shit the lions mouths(your creditors won’t be able to devour you or your possessions) and you will be delivered out of the place of darkness, the dungeon you find yourself in, the chains will be broken and the shackles will come loose.
